Workshops

Faradena teaches the following workshops for up to 15 adults or children. They are suitable for people of all ages and abilities. She is insured with the Musicians Union and SoundSense and has an enhanced DBS check. She has her own percussion instruments for people to use in the workshop. All workshops cultivate and encourage creativity. They improve the art of listening, finding one's own musical voice, developing group playing and techniques for solo playing.

Moving Sound

The T'ai Chi of improvised music. Suitable for musicians/performers of all abilities and experiences, beginners to advanced. Listening to the body and connecting mindful biomechanics and energy with the creative process.

Improvised music for beginners

Listening basics and playing with others, posture considerations.

Improvised music for experienced players

Following the sound and deeper listening techniques.

Percussion and singing for children

Spontaneous story making with sounds effects and group composed music for children and guardians of all ages.

Cost

Day - £300 (10am – 5pm)

Half day - £200 (10am – 1pm or 2pm – 5pm)

RECORDING

Faradena works with musicians in the process of recording their music. She can make string arrangements to suit the lyric of the song and can also provide vocal harmonies.

Cost

Day - £300 (10am – 6pm)

Half day - £200 (3-hour half day - can be negotiable depending on length of project)
